Commitment to
Character

Alpha Omicron Pi was founded on a promise to serve not only one another but the greater community as well. This commitment reflects a philosophy of friendship, concern, and usefulness in the world.

Commitment to
Dignity

Whether a member chooses to serve as a chapter officer, or represent AOII as a member of other campus or community organizations, there are numerous opportunities to develop leadership skills as a member of AOII.

Commitment to
Scholarship

AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

Commitment to
College Loyalty

From collegiate years on through alumnae involvement, the reason AOIIs continue service is the joy of spending time together and sharing the insights learned from the relationships we build and sustain.

Letter from the President

Hi Everyone!!My name is Meredith Forester, and I have the joy and honor of serving the Delta Delta Chapter as President at Auburn University. On behalf of our chapter, welcome to our website! We are so happy to be able to give you a glimpse into our sorority and introduce you to the women that make it so extraordinary. Alpha Omicron Pi holds such a special place in my heart, and I truly could not imagine my college experience without these women. I hope you are able to learn more about our passionate, ambitious, supportive, and loving group of women and why I am so humbled to be a member of AOII!Here at AOII, our national motto is “Inspire Ambition.” This proves true throughout our chapter and encourages each of us to push ourselves every day. Through our dedication to academics, philanthropy, leadership, sisterhood, and more, we commit ourselves to excellence in everything we do, striving to use our gifts and talents to those around us. Above all, the women of Alpha Omicron Pi foster an environment where every member feels constant support and confidence with her goals and ambitions- whatever those may be. These values represented by AOII push us to do more than to excel by service- they call us to love and support each other fully. This group of women is loyal and committed to build one another up. From cheering our members on at callouts, to cheering on our Tiger Paws, Dance Line, and Flag Line members every gameday in Jordan Hare, to hosting Bible studies and small group diners, to simply bringing members lunch during a stressful test week, we support each other in everything that we do.Being from Florida, I came to Auburn knowing no one or having any idea of how my college experience would turn out. The sense of love and belonging that I found in AOII cannot be compared, and I am thankful every day for that. I know I would not be where I am now if it were not for the women of this sorority. They are the ones who tell me “I can” when I am convinced I cannot. In this sorority, I have been lucky to find people who keep me true to myself, challenge me to understand opinions different from my own, bring me constant laughter, build up my confidence at all times, and make Auburn feel more like home every day. This group of women has helped me grow as a person and have made me proud of the woman I am becoming. To me a sorority has been finding a group of girls to celebrate your uniqueness and support you for the rest of your life. This is what meanings I have found within AOII and what I hope it will mean to future women of Alpha Omicron Pi.I am truly so thankful for this group of women and the opportunity to know each of them. Each member has her own dreams, her own background, her passions and heart- and we cherish these members from Delta Delta. We hope you enjoy learning about Alpha Omicron Pi and love it as much as we do!
